world in a small room, Molyneuxs repository of beloved
people and animals, in miniature, from his travels across
many lands.
In this room there is also an early 19th century Russian
round table in mahogany and gilt brass surrounded by
four Russian armchairs. On this table is the tiny model of
a motorcycle, Molyneuxs free time avocation. Molyneux
loves speed whether on motorcycle or on skis, not unlike
one of his modernist design progenitors, Carlo Mollino.
He holds skiing speed records at Zurs and Zermatt. On
the porphyry coffee table is a bronze Japanese vase and
small bronze figure of a lion.
