a wider context, she gives the small building a peculiar
distinction and significance. We feel her grandfather
knew it well, from the inside as well as the outside. We
are rather amused by the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes
church in Lucy���s rendering, perhaps an artistic reminder
of the importance of temperance; miracles do happen,
even among those who imbibe too often!
