In a photograph now permanently installed on a
bookshelf in my library across from my reading chair
one sees seven men, six of whom are substantially
older and distinguished. In the middle of the picture
is the Grand Master, cane in hand, Fra���Angelo de
Mojana, to his left, Minister Grima and to his right,
the sole young man, myself. The photograph was
taken to commemorate our meeting with the Grand
Master, at the Magisterial Malta Palace on Via
Condotti in Rome, to discuss the Knights��� return
to Malta, ideally to Fort Saint Angelo.
