donated by Rose Cummings and books and
exotic objects punctuated flat spaces while an
especially animated and generous Victorian
iron bed dominated the room. His exotic
furniture included black painted Louis XVI
side chairs, thoughtfully upholstered and
positioned. I did contribute a demi-lune
cabinet, which was set between the windows.
It was dark green lacquer with gold decoration
having a vertically stripped mirror outer surface
