When he returned later that week, we sat together and
reviewed, carefully, the narratives. Only when his words
were perfectly transcribed were we done.
That day our blog reporter and I sat with Mr. Hadley
and recorded a candid interview with him about his
life, design sensibilities and
thoughts on the evolution of
the industry in general. His
words were purposeful and
inspiring. We learned so
much that day.
He encouraged us, as young
creatives, ���to be open to
things that are stimulating
to the imagination���A lot
of it has to do with being
visual. Whether you���re
impressed by the art on the
wall���whether you like it
or not���there it is and you
acknowledge it and think
about it and feel something
because of it. For a young
person who���s in this world, the more she knows about
what other people are creating, the more she is going to
develop.���
When we asked about other changes in the trade, Mr.
Hadley, again highlighted the importance of education
