colleagues. This space is extrovert and 20th century, with
a de rigeur black leather sofa by le Corbusier and a round
chrome and glass table by Eileen Gray. The walls are red
and one side of the room is dominated by a striking bank
of doors lacquered in abstract imagery inspired by the
Constructivist artists. It is a bold and curious contrast
to the two classical images in the entry: one entire wall
is covered with a canvas printing of Le Bruns Battle of
Alexander the Great on one side; across the way glows
the moniker, MOLYNEUX. Is Molyneux declaring that
decorating is a battle, perhaps one between the classicist
in his bones and the Constructivist in his soul?
