But the concert I attended in honor of Rev. Fabbio Attard
STB at St. George���s Basilica on Gozo captured a Maltese
musical narrative, hallmarked by excellence on the part of
the youthful Laudate Pueri Choir of the Basilica, directed
by Canon George Frendo and the Quartetto from the
Capella Pontificia Sistina at the Vatican, directed by
Monsignor Massimo Palombella, STB.
Staged in what comprises a miniature version of St.
Peter���s itself, with excellent acoustics, the program
of liturgical works from the sixteenth century to the
