bathtubs: a crescendo of coziness. The interior of one cabin, the Eagle's Perch, reminds me of Will Rogers' living room at the eponymous State Park in Pacific Palisades, California. This authentic Western decoration is the work of Albuquerque, New Mexico interior designer Jet Zarkadas. Of her work at Rock Creek Zarkadas says, "I approach design organically and believe that it should be rooted in place and landscape." Zarkadas researched local history to ensure that every decorative and functional detail served to augment the historic western ranch atmosphere. Zarkadas takes special pains with textiles: Pendleton blankets and Navaho woven rugs and throws; supple leather and crisp cotton. HYLAND
