The hand painted ceilings comprising scores of beams
evoke elements of traditional Mayan design with that of the
conquistadors. Set in an ancient mansion, the courtyards
bring to mind eighteenth century Antigua. But it is when the
restaurant's company of outstanding traditional dancers take
to the floor that the restaurant morphs into a truly exhilarating
atmosphere. Colorful apparitions seem to appear all around.
A dozen performers attired in traditional Mayan costumes
perform intricate and ritualistic dances intended to rid all those
present of evil spirits. How many restaurants do that? H
