in Palm Beach. The Carlyle
restaurant in NY, you can talk
there and it is elegant.
A selection of dinner guests from history?
The dinner would be in honor of Elizabeth I.
Voltaire, Thomas Jefferson, Matisse, Oscar Wilde,
Dickens, Elsie de Wolfe (she was a rule breaker), Robert
Adam (the architect) , Billie Holiday, Edith Piaf, Mozart,
Adlai Stevenson, Jacqueline Cochran (I have a Cartier
watch given to Cochran; she was the first woman to fly a
jet), Amelia Earhart.
Current project?
Four books, they have definitely
captivated me…Children's New
Year; one about my husband, Ken
Noland's work; animal sanctuaries in
this country with Harry Benson; and a
book about A.D. and all those years. H
