Considered Guatemala's premier hotel, its restaurants
are among the best in the country. The night I dined
there in a party of sixteen, we sat at a long Baronial table
set beneath masses of stone architecture, candlelit with
extremely polite and accommodating staff. Beautifully
attired and accomplished singers and musicians
serenaded us. The food was delicious, my steak perfectly
cooked, the desert a delight.
For smaller parties, seek a cozy alcove under a massive
arch. But if your dream is a unique venue for a large
party, there is not a better place. The ruins of a huge
