mission, that she "does not believe in simply educating
her clients about specific designers, but aims to enlighten
them towards all disciplines related to furniture design."
Grajales is therefore on the cutting edge, not only of discovering and exhibiting the work of avant-garde artists
and designers, past or contemporary, but also of contemporary trends in design scholarship, which look to
contexts of all kinds—social, cultural, material, to name
but a few—to explicate how such works came into being and their significance for our civilization.
