a corner of the living
room surrounded by
four Queen Anne dining chairs, which are moved about as
need or aesthetics dictate. A pretty little tripod tea-table sits
in front of the fireplace in the kitchen-sitting room.
Handsome floor-length, multi-paned windows frame a
doorway at the rear of the capacious living room that leads to a
brick-paved patio, while another smaller outdoor area can be
accessed from the kitchen-sitting room. An oculus in the wall
of the larger patio echoes subtle circular motifs that embellish
the adroitly connected houses. Both have fanlights over their
front doors, while the airy living room is separated from the
front of the house by a row of mobile semi-circular curtains that
can either cocoon the space and or atmospherically expand it.
