Or, does much of Quinze���s massive installation work, such
as Camille; The Traveler; The Visitor; The Sequence; Red
Beacon; and Uchronia represent studies of internal human
anatomy? Do bridge, desert and city-square bound
abstract sketches in sculpture made up of thousands
of planks of wood, represent our veins, our arteries and
our hearts? Few artists so deftly bridge artistic elements
inspired by microelements within us to the vast macro
world, successfully making common cause between the
two, tantalizing us with the possibilities of what the built
world would be if derived from them.
