wrist. They can be very alluring.
Visiting St. Moritz as a boy, I was rescued from a fall on New
Year���s Eve by an elegant lady in chiffon and sable with two gold
and diamond cuffs, one of which fell to the snow. Retrieving it,
I placed it on her wrist. She lingers in my mind as a personification of elegance.
