until we see the cheerily lit interior, a small bright capsule in a larger landscape. The
prominence in Frances��� photographs of landscape and sky and their respective
scales in comparison to the subject matter is a major theme of his work.

today, would, one imagines, collect Frances��� serious, sumptuous masterworks of
